On December 10, Mr. Hoang Van Ngoc – founder of KTS Group visited Mr. Sengphet Houng Boun Nguang – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in Vietnam.
On behalf of Embassy Laos, Mr. Sengphet Houng Boun Nguang – Lao Ambassador in Vietnam, Ms. Sonechan Phoutthavong – Economic and Trade Counselor and Mr. Sylaphet Thinkeomeuangneua – Secretary. Mr. Sengphet Houng Boun Nguang believes that through the visit, two sides can cooperate for long-term vision.
Mr. Hoang Van Ngoc said: “Vietnam and Laos are always a special friendship. Currently, KTS Group is developing well into the US, Canda, India and some countries such as Germany, Russia. Therefore, KTS Group hopes that the ambassador will create more conditions for us to transfer technology, which will help Lao and Vietnam get closer in the digital transformation revolution”.
Mr. Sengphet Houng Boun Nguang said: “I am very happy with the development of KTS Group when reaching out to the world. Vietnam and Laos have been neighbors since the time of President Ho Chi Minh and President Kaysone Phomvihane. Many generations have shared hardships on the same trenches, fought against invaders for our independence. I truly appreciate that. When I have a chance to visit an agricultural area in Lam Dong province. I see them applying very modern and advanced technology, bringing high efficiency. Hopefully in the coming time, the people, businesses as well as the Lao government will have bilateral cooperation with KTS to improve in many fields”.
Mr. Sengphet Houng Boun Nguang emphasized: “Although the Covid 19 epidemic lasts for a long time, Vietnamese entering Laos will have to be quarantined but the Lao government will create favorable conditions for Vietnamese companies, who want to invest in Laos”.
The ambassador and Mrs. Sonechan Phoutthavong happily agreed to support the issues discussed and invited KTS Group visit and connect with Lao’s businesses so that the two sides can promote trade in goods and technology in the beginning of the new year 2022.
